I am a PhD candidate in Hydroclimatology at China University of Geosciences (Wuhan). My research focuses on the hydro-climatic impacts of urbanization, with particular emphasis on extreme precipitation dynamics, urban climate resilience, and data-driven modeling approaches.

My work integrates large-scale climate datasets, spatial–temporal analysis, and machine learning techniques to better understand how urbanization reshapes precipitation processes and associated hydrological risks.

Research Interests

  • Hydroclimatic effects of urbanization
  • Urban climate resilience and flood risk
  • Detection and attribution using machine learning

🎤 Invited by Dr. Yin Dou, I participated in the City+Talk Series (Episode 47), The Spatiotemporal Distribution of Rainstorm Intensity Is Steeper in Urban Areas Than in Rural Areas. I presented our recent research on how urbanization reshapes extreme rainfall patterns and discussed its implications for urban flood risk, early warning, and emergency response.
